As you may remember, Baby Be Hip hosted a baby gear drive in the springtime for a local organization in our area, Cradles to Crayons (you can read more in our previous blog post about the drive). Cradles to Crayons is a nonprofit organization that donates new and gently used items to low-income children in the Philadelphia area. Our collection drive was a huge success and we will be continuing to be a permanent drop-off location!

My mom, a regular volunteer at Cradles to Crayons, familiarized me with the organization and the great work that they do for children in need in our area. They previously had a donation warehouse in Horsham; so many in the area knew of Cradles to Crayons and at Baby Be Hip, we love and support the Cradles to Crayons mission and decided to start a collection drive at our office in Horsham!

Throughout the spring months, we publicized our collection drive in the local Horsham Patch, many local church bulletins, flyers in the area, and through our Facebook and other social media outlets, and had a great response from so many customers, friends, and neighbors in the area! A huge thank you to all those who came by with generous donations, from books to clothes to strollers for babies and kids – and we donated some BBH burp clothes, too! Thanks to your generosity, we were able to fill up a Cradles to Crayons truck with all of the donated items that to their warehouse in Conshohocken, PA!
