A few weeks ago, we had our good friend and colleague Kara stop by to help us out with some product photography. We go to Kara’s Lensfriends DIY studio when it’s time for a fun baby photo shoot. She also gave our readers some great tips in this guest post a while back. We are trying to improve our pictures so our personalized gifts look as adorable online as they do in real life! Here is a behind the scenes video with some of the artistic shots Kara took around the shop.

Cute stuff right?! It was great having Kara here me the places with the best lighting and what settings to use on the camera. We also got this pretty “wood” backdrop to bring our pictures to the next level. I would love to know what you think of the new look, let me know in the comments section!)

When I was taking towel pictures for our latest newsletter, I experimented with different angles and close ups. I even made the girls around the shop work in semi-darkness while I was testing with lighting! Thanks guys!)
