What is the best parenting advice you have ever received?

The best parenting advice I’ve ever received is to take some time for yourself…Don’t be afraid to say yes to girls’ weekend or date night w/ hubby. It will be better for your kiddies in the long run. Also, the Serenity Prayer helps me get through those rough patches… “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; the courage to change the things I can; and the wisdom to know the difference.” I also pray for peace and patience!!!!
