What are the names of your kids and how did you choose their names?

I have a 12-month old little boy named Gil. He was named after my husband’s father who passed away 15 years ago. We think it suits him really well.

The best piece of advice you have ever received:

The best piece of advice I ever got was from my Mom who said, “Always be true to yourself”. I believe if you really tune-in, you’ll find that all the answers and all the tools you need are with you all the time.

What is some good parenting advice or tips you would give to new moms?

As a new Mom myself, I’d say enjoy every moment as much as you can. It’s amazing how quickly they grow and change so lock those precious moments in your memory forever.

If you had one free day all to yourself, what would you do?

A day to myself? I would begin with a yoga class, have lunch with a girlfriend or two and spend the afternoon at the spa.

What is your favorite way to spend time with your kids and family?

My favorite days are weekends spent going for a long walk in one of the conservation areas near our house with my husband, our son and our dog and then cooking a nice meal afterward.

What are some of your interests?

My biggest interest is yoga. I have been practicing for 12 years. I also teach when I can. I love studying and learning. It’s taught me how to be flexible in mind and body and how to be more compassionate toward myself and others. I am very grateful to have it in my life.

Which Baby Be Hip product is your favorite to send as a gift?

I love the personalized sand buckets and the ribbon towels. I gave them as Christmas gifts to my cousin’s kids and they were a big hit!
