What are the names of your kids and how did you choose their names?

I have one little boy named Charlie (Charles Anthony). Charles is a family name on my husband’s side which we really liked. We did not know if we were having a boy or girl so we decided that either way we would be having a Charlie (Charles or Charlotte) because we loved the name.

What is some good parenting advice or tips you would give to new moms?

Everyone told me to sleep when the baby sleeps, but I never was able to do that! I guess my best advice would be to let people help you- whether it be your family or hired help, to make time when possible for yourself, to stop worrying about all of the baby books and the rules about doing it all right and to schedule a babysitter for every Saturday night so you can spend time with your husband.

If you had one free day all to yourself, what would you do?

Go to a class at my gym such as zumba or TRX, have lunch with some girlfriends or my mom, get a manicure and pedicure, and enjoy a dinner out with my husband.

What is your favorite way to spend time with your kids and family?

Most of my time with Charlie and my husband Jeff as well as other family members happens during the weekends and I really just love hanging out doing whatever is on our schedule. Going to the park/playground, visiting my parents or in-laws, having one on one time to really enjoy Charlie and play with him is a treat every weekend since we both work full-time. I love being able to bring Charlie to spend time with his cousins and we also love spending our summer weekends at the beach in Avalon.

What are some of your interests?

My career allows me to consult with clients daily and also focus on new business development. I spend a large amount of time networking with HR professionals and keeping up to date on health care reform.

I spend my free time reading books focused on motivation, self-development, goal-setting and spiritual growth. I also love fashion and shopping, trying new activities such as exercise classes, boxing, etc.

Which Baby Be Hip product is your favorite to send as a gift?

The set of personalized burp cloths has been my go-to gift for years! I also really love the personalized buckets.
