Customer of the Week: Margaret Sales

Hometown: Arlington, VA

What are the names and ages of your kids? What’s the story behind their names?

Anna Rose is 19 months old. Anna is my mother’s first name as well as my husband’s great-grandmother’s name. Rose is my grandmother’s name. We have another little girl due in September whose name is still TBD!

A piece of advice you’ve always remembered:

Many mothers with children in college have told me to cherish the time when my children are young since they will be off on their own in what will feel like a blink of the eye. I try to remember this when my daughter is having a tantrum!

What is a good tip every new parent should know?

Follow your instincts. You read and hear a lot of advice, but you have to do what feels right for your child and family.

If you could go on a dream vacation, where would it be? What would you do?

New Zealand – to eat, drink wine, and take in the beauty of the country.

How do you and your family like to spend time together?

My daughter loves music and dancing so we sing and dance every day together.

What are some of your interests or hobbies?

My husband and I love to travel so we are trying to continue to do so with our daughter. We took her to Barcelona when she was 6 months old and are taking her to the UK and France this summer. We’ll see if we can continue the trend with two little ones….

Which Baby Be Hip product is your favorite to send as a gift?

My favorite product to send as a gift is the Bib and Burp Cloth Combo. My daughter received one when she was born and I loved having something cute and stylish with her name on it to spit up/drool/food while we were out and about. I also enjoy picking out different ribbons to match the personality and style of the family receiving the gift.
