What are the names of your kids and how did you choose their names?

Russell Wallace Day is my son. Russell is after a dear friend who passed away and is also a family name on my side. Wallace is his great great Granddad on his Father’s side. Then we thought we’d give him the same last name as ours- makes it easier.

The best piece of advice you have ever received:

You have the power to control your life experience. Choose to see happiness and you will be happy.

What is some good parenting advice or tips you would give to new moms?

Everything is a phase so don’t worry to much about the things that are hard and soak up the things that are good. It will all change soon.

If you had one free day all to yourself, what would you do?

I would sleep in, have a nice lunch with some wine, go to a movie with my husband and drive to the beach for some sunset yoga. Then more wine
