What are the names of your kids and how did you choose their names?

My 10 month old is Tyler William (the Baby Be Hip Christmas model!). Tyler was one of the few names my husband Matt and I agreed upon and William honors Matt’s dad who passed away, that was his name.

The best piece of advice you have ever received:

Best advice is show gratitude by recognizing the little things like when your husband or child makes the bed or empties the dishwasher; say thank you to each other and your children often.

What is some good parenting advice or tips you would give to new moms?

Parenting tip: don’t rock your child all the way to sleep, put them down awake after comforting them so they learn to sleep on their own.

If you had one free day all to yourself, what would you do?

On a free day I would go to the beach and read a book then go out for dinner and drinks with friends or family.

What is your favorite way to spend time with your kids and family?

I love going to Ashbridge Park in Bryn Mawr/Rosemont with Matt and Tyler, there are tons of equipment for kids and a great walking trail I can use with the stroller.

What are some of your interests?

I’m a psychologist with a private practice in center city and I work with kids, adolescents, adults, and families. I love my work-home balance.

Which Baby Be Hip product is your favorite to send as a gift?

My favorite BBH products are the personalized burp cloths, they are an adorable and practical go-to gift and what I love using for Tyler on a daily basis.
