What are the names of your kids and how did you choose their names?

My daughter’s name is Isabella Rose. My husband and I loved the name Isabella (even before the vampire craze).

The best piece of advice you have ever received:

The best piece of advice I’ve received would be to celebrate the small moments, too. It holds true now more so than ever. The small milestones that occur in between the major ones are equally as important. We try to celebrate learning how to color and starting to sing as much as we do learn to crawl and walk. It all goes by so quickly, enjoy the small moments as much as the big ones.

What is some good parenting advice or tips you would give to new moms?

No matter how many books and websites you read, other parents are a great resource and sometimes have the answers to questions you haven’t even thought of yet!

If you had one free day all to yourself, what would you do?

My free day would be split between some spa time, the gym and reading some of the books I have stacked and waiting for me (assuming the day has more than 24 hours).

What is your favorite way to spend time with your kids and family?

My favorite way to spend time would be split between when my husband and I read with my daughter before her bedtime, our family dance parties, or taking our daughter to children’s concerts. The look on her face when she sees her favorite characters is priceless.

What are some of your interests?

My husband and I recently began a new business venture working with student athletes. As a teacher and a coach, this relates to my career and allows me to work with athletes in a different manner. My husband and I started Lion Creative Group, which creates recruitment videos for blue chip athletes to help them market themselves and get noticed at the collegiate level.
