HOW DO YOU DISPLAY YOUR KID’S ARTWORK?
Aug 24th 2019
If you’re a parent, you know that once your kids can pick up a crayon, you better clear off some fridge space for that scribbled drawing to hang. Once the kids start school, they come home almost daily with another watercolor or crayon drawing. What to do with them all? After all, the fridge only has so much space! At Colleen’s house, they frame special art pieces and have the kids name them, displaying each one in their mud room.
Here are a few other ideas to show off the artwork around the home:
- Show off special pieces with clothespins on a clothesline in the playroom for a fun and colorful look! Make a different line for each child, or different years. Easy to switch paintings around and replace them!
- Take a digital photo or scan the drawing into your computer and set it as your desktop wallpaper.
- If you have several kids, choose a few pieces from them all and scan into your computer. Upload them onto Shutterfly and make it into a calendar, photo book, or notecards. Perfect presents to share with grandparents and relatives!
- Hang up art and 3D crafts in windows so it can be seen both inside and outside.
- Laminate a few paintings or drawings and use them as placemats!
