…And the announcement from Kensington Palace: It’s a Princess!

Welcome to the World, Charlotte Elizabeth Diana.

We get so excited about Royalty, don’t we? It will be so interesting to see little Charlotte grow up with her big brother George. It’s been forever since we had a princess with real royal blood, so all eyes will most definitely be on this little lady. For now, let’s focus on her name. Baby names are our business here at Baby Be Hip)

Charlotte: The feminine name of Charles, the father of Prince William. It’s also a version of Carole, Kate’s mother and the middle name of Kate’s sister, Pippa. –-Fabulous choice!

Elizabeth: The name of the current Queen of England, Prince William’s Grandmother. –Check!

And Diana: a beautiful tribute to the late Princess Diana–Who wasn’t hoping for that one?

Baby Be Hip sent some gifts to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge to welcome “her baby highness”.

Our first gift– "The Weekender Set" will be perfect for trips to the Isle of Wight.

Our next gift is the Bubble Gum Dotty Bucket and Burp Gift Set. We wanted to add a little fun to the Royal Nursery. We personalized it with the name Charlie. Just a guess, but don’t you think we will be calling this little lady Princess Charlie? I know I will!

And last, but not least, some Personalized Bloomers for the Royal! It’s an unwritten rule that we would never lay eyes on a royal diaper. These will help with that…
