MOMMYCON COMES TO PHILADELPHIA!
Aug 29th 2019
Since we’re in the baby business, we like to be up to speed on all of the latest trends, tips, and happenings in the baby world! Recently, a convention called MommyCon came to our hometown of Philadelphia, and although we didn’t get a chance to attend, we still wanted to share what it’s about since it can be a useful resource for parents!
MommyCon is a one-day conference that will be stopping in several major cities throughout the United States, and the first stop was in Philadelphia on August 11th. The conference is geared towards informing, educating, and helping parents make natural, organic, and conscious decisions when it comes to raising their children, specifically focusing on food, gear, birthing, clothes, and general parenting tips.
Several eco-friendly baby brand vendors were displaying baby carriers, wraps, strollers and more, and a team of bloggers spoke about natural parenting. MommyCon seems like a great way to connect with other parents, while learning about a different, natural lifestyle that many new (and not new!) parents may not be aware of.
Workshops, seminars, and demonstrations on cloth diapering, baby wearing (a popular trend seen at the conference as an alternative to a stroller), car seat safety, and living a greener life are all part of MommyCon, beneficial information that’s good for any parent to learn about.
